Widely considered the god and protector of the skies. It is rumored that cracks of thunder without visible lightning is the sound of her taking flight. Her followers tend to constantly seek to be the fastest, honing their speed and their instincts so they can never be taken by surprise.
Janasini is the progenitor of the swift, bird-like celestials called Garudas. Long ago, she was coerced into playing a game with her sister Vulnagafor the servitude of her garuda children, but Vulnagadidn't play fair. Janasini did not allow the transgression to go unsaid, and the two got into a duel that ended with the decapitation of her serpent sister. Janasini then sent out her children, urging them to bring swift passage and protection to the truly worthy, and to never show mercy when completing that task. Garuda's have only shown up in extraordinary moments since, in times where someone considered worthy of it needed their saving, but none have been seen since before the Vasavadan heirs began their quarrels.
