The Yakuza has a small branch operating in Chicago at Nippontown. They have an internal conflict about the old traditions, and the new ways. They have an uncommon alliance with the Tsukikage in "protecting" the district.
Book 1: The World Awakens
Mister Kim had some turf wars with the Triad, and the Golden Snake about territory, but they soon made peace, even if a shaken one. They helped the Tsukikage in the battle against the Red Hand in the Red December.
