After having saved the Dwarves metals from the goblin scavengers in the dale, Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her companions decided to return to their original quest of hunting down the Ice Stabber of the Ten Towns. The next port of call, Targos. It was here they had to investigate the death of Mara the ship builder.
Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her friends struggled to learn much about the killing itself. The guards, people in taverns and those around the docks, all seemed to know very little. Two things did stand out though. First, a guard said that when they chose someone for their strange sacrifice ritual, he thought Mara's name was drawn but then another was drawn instead. Hlin Trollbane had told Razeesh that she thought the murders were ritual, and related to these sacrifices that the town's do, which makes sense with this rumour. The other was that the chieftain's of the Ten Towns were having some kind of secret meeting.
At The Three Flags Sailing, which the companions had gone to collect rumours and stuff, the owner Ma told us that some other adventurers had gone to hunt the Goliath Oyaminartok who people said could turn into a Polar bear which is obviously crazy. They went to Kelvin's Cairn to hunt the creature. Ma assumed we'd they'd come to join the hunting party though they were way too late. As shown by the fateful encounter that followed. As Razeesh "Ankle Biter" left the Tavern she was cornered by a dog.
The dog, Boy, lead Razeesh "Ankle Biter" to its master. Razeesh learned from this man that his husband Garrett had left with Boy to Caer-Konig with the other adventurers, and he feared that if Boy had returned without Garrett that Garrett might be in danger. Seeing how strong Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her companions were, he begged for them to lend their strength and find this Garrett before it was too late. Of course, Razeesh "Ankle Biter" could not turn down a call to adventure and soon left to follow in the tracks of these adventurers. They decided to go to Caer-Konig with haste.
Unfortunately father time was working against our heroes, as night fell as they reached the last town before Caer-Konig, Caer-Dineval. Worse, the inn was boarded up, and the people of the town including the Chieftain wouldn't offer shelter to them despite the murderous cold of night. As the inn was boarded up, unused, Razeesh "Ankle Biter" and her companions decided to break in for the night. Surely the owner would understand that it was that or risk frostbite or worse outside. Their luck turned even more sour as it turned out that a group of cowardly Duergar had also made the inn their home. Duergar "warriors" ambushed the party using some kind of nasty magik that made them invisible, Rock and Raima fell before we they knew what was fighting them. Rogan Helstorm showed his true colours, and like many shamans cowardly hid from the fight using some wicked witchery leaving Razeesh "Ankle Biter" to get completely surrounded. She fought hard, but with so many enemies attacking dodging was hard and they hit her so much that she eventually went down.
Her story did not end there though, for Razeesh was too strong to die.
