To Possess Depth

Description

Nam Yoo-Jun is a junior of the Jihui Sect in the Order of the Ghostslayer. She trains under Fakir ChaeYasda and sometimes with her mother, Nam Eun-Ae.

Yoo-Jun has a sweet temperament and a charismatic disposition. Some may underestimate her for her childish joy, but others see the potential of a leader in her.

Like her mother, Yoo-Jun practices the param-in art of archery. Her specialty as a ghostslayer is born from the spirit that possesses her, an aggrieved river spirit kept pacified by her efforts.

Yoo-Jun's name approximately means "To possess (Yoo) Depth (Jun)".

Within the Campaign

Liutubang met Nam Yoo-Jun with the rest of Fakir's juniors. She acted as his right-hand, accompanying the party on the first job with Fakir. Later, she was present outside The Tower, and provided her support by joining the party inside. She was present in the Spirit Realm during The Ghost Festival, accompanying her mother.

Yoo-Jun initially grew wary of Cheon Do-Yun at the revelation that he apprenticed under Unknown. However, with Fakir's acceptance and Do-Yun's continued efforts, she has accepted him as something like family, even moreso once the connection between their mothers was revealed.

History

Nam Yoo-Jun was born with a spirit possessing her. Rather than abandon her or risk harming her with an exorcism, her mother took Yoo-Jun and her sister to the Jihui Sect. There they were raised and, rather than exorcise the spirit, Yoo-Jun was taught how to co-exist with the spirit possessing her. She learned to channel its powers and copes with the days sometimes spent out of control of her body.

She joined the Jihui Sect with knowledge that she would be specializing into the Order of the Ghostslayer. She first apprenticed under Suesuke. Following their deviation, she is finishing her training with Fakir.
