Raviv

Description

Downstairs neighbor of Liutubang. They moved into their apartment after the rent on their previous place raised too high.

Raviv is a student of planar magic at the Daybreak College of Arcane Magic. They are a paid intern at the observatory in Límíng City, a job that provides the pay and scholarships to afford their schooling, rent, and not much else. They are relatively well traveled due to their studies, and have a deep interest in botany.

Raviv has a nervous but friendly disposition, and speaks with a stutter. Though alarmed by the initial meeting with Liutubang, they warmed up after the initial impression.

Though appearing drow, Raviv has an atypical appearance in the darkness of their features and starlike freckles.

Within the Campaign

Liutubang met Raviv as a new neighbor in the floor below their own apartment. Despite initial suspicion, Raviv has welcomed the party in. They are well-integrated into the immediate community, showing concern for the disaster down in the Drains and looking after the kids when the city was on lockdown. Their community focus is such that they have regarded Vic with judgement for his apparent willingness to endanger others, although they apologized for holding him to unfair standards.

Raviv is familiar with Florentine Raingard and, by proxy, with Jirawan.

History

Raviv has stated they moved from far away. Once in the city, they enrolled at Daybreak University and were employed in the Planar Observatory. Raviv has cited their own passion for the subject of the planar system, especially the Astral Plane. Though their precise upbringing is unknown, it has given them a sense of moral obligation that guides their decisions in life today.
