#Team High Turnover Rate took some time to regroup and discuss the current problems you faced. 1) Travel visas to Ukulam, 2) What to do with your hostage Professor Muhali, 3) What happened to Professor Solstarni, 4) Where are you actually trying to go once you get through the Aiudara? Also whether Jerzac Scarlewe or Zuri of House Du'Mansia wanted to call officer blueballs back. Zuri and Jerzac recommended that you go to the Five Arches to track down both the lead from Muhali and possibly find alternate means to Ukulam.

At Five Arches, you were greeted by extremely odd smells and an overly eager hostess who was excited to have Human guests so she could serve the "authentic" daily special of vanilla chicken, mashed rice, and raw asparagus with a cherry compote. Thinking better of the food everyone got drinks while surveying the other patrons. There was a party of a half dozen Lashunta, a human and two Formians, a table with 2 Formians quietly talking, and a lone human nursing a drink.

Jerzac approached the man while the others remained at the table maintaining control of Muhali. Soon after Jerzac got seated and learned Roswell Mogul's name a crew of 5 (1 human, 2 hobgoblins, and 2 spathinae) entered the diner. The obvious leader informed Roswell that Eyrub Paqual would like to tie up the last loose end in Qabarat now that Roswell's 2 subordinates were eliminated. Jerzac asked them to come back later since Roswell was occupied but they didn't take the hint. Roquesta (Rocket) Strauss and Bash started to amble over to assist when the proprieter shouted and pointed towards the  obviously placed sign saying  "Take All Fights Outside."

After everyone was outside, the fight began in earnest while Zuri was inside handcuffing (using Officer Handsy's handcuffs) Muhali to the table. Despite some focused fire at the leader's orders you quickly take them all out with minimal damage. After the fight was over Jerzac spent some time negotiating the cost of fake travel visas while Bash/Rocket looted the bodies and Zuri retrieved the hostage who had been trying to escape. The negotiations were successful, reducing the cost per visa down from 2k to 0 and an even split of treasure with a side of revenge against Paqual.

Roswell told you some information about Paqual, her crew, and the work he did for her. Paqual ordered 15 fake visas though he only had to make minor adjustments to Paqual's and her sick Kasatha colleague's legitimate academic visas. Mogul had doubts that Paqual was her real identity but the money was good enough to not ask questions. Finally Mogul knew Paqual was shipping a considerable amount of firearms, heavy gear, a disassembled comm unit, and she also received special permissions for fungal spores.

The miscellaneous armor and equipment was liquidated (some shopping might have happened off screen between sessions) and you slept before heading to the Aiudara in the morning. On the approach you watched people walk in one side and as they approached the plane of the arch they appeared to be sliced open so you could see their internals. First a hand, then arm, then chest/face with internal organs/skull and brain showing. None of them showed even the slightest pain. While these people were being reduced others were being built as they walked out of the other side of the gate. Feeling uneasy you approached the only working gate that had no line and stepped through to Turhalu Point on Ukulam. You saw a small research outpost at the tip of a broad penninsula amongst a large plain of vibrant green grass that has a violet hue when the wind moves the stalks. Short lived blooms of magenta fungus tower over the landscape but most have begun to wilt and others with large bite marks missing. Loud trumpets echo over the plain as enormous six-legged beasts with long necks walk towards the distant treeline as a herd. Even further beyond the jungle rises the Singing Range.
