Technically, there are no public authorities in Alquarfhaba. The law is enforced by a detachment of the Zerzuran Wordbearers, whose troops use staves, Dogs, and ironwood bows to defend the border (as elsewhere noted, Mashaya law is not well-understood by outsiders, and they are not subscribers to The Pandect).
