Born a child of The Autumn yet adopted by The Spring Queen at a young age, Talon has spent much of his life joyfully occupying the role of both dutiful eldest son and supportive brother to his adopted sibling, Derrek Firstspring. Though it was clear from their youth that Talon was not the favored son of the family, with much of their mother's ephemeral affections being lavished on his younger brother, Talon never held any resentment in his heart towards either of them. Even as he grew older and began to take on more of the day to day leadership of Fey and the responsibilities that came with he did so gladly, happy to care for the family and land that he loved all the while viewing his informal leadership as merely a temporary position until Derrek grew old enough to take his rightful place.
The discovery of Prince Derrek's treason on behalf of The Court of Autumn not only rocked the stability of the entire Spring Court, it shattered the tranquility that had so far defined Talon's life. Unsurprisingly, Talon took the news of his brother's betrayal harder than most, choosing to publicly sever the blood bond that the two had forged with one another and personally leading the agents of The Court sent to hunt him down after his disappearance. This hunt was to be unsuccessful however, and in the years that followed Prince Talon has never quite been the same, with many saying that he has come to embody his namesake more now than ever.
Today, Prince Talon remains essentially the Regent of Fey, having taken on even more of his mother's duty in the wake of her retreat from public life following her son's disappearance. Fiercely protective of his mother and a harsh critic to those who would dare to speak against her rule, he has however proven himself a more than capable leader in her effective absence from the throne, if a good bit more practical than one might expect from a Lord of Spring. He's even given up the hunt for his brother, much to the surprise of the nobility of Spring, preferring instead to devote his time to caring for his mother and guiding Fey through the strange times all of the realms have found themselves in since facing near calamity three years ago.
