Party History

In S06 - Roots Revealed, she greeted the party at Virella's Song, taking particular interest in Donny and Finn. She recalled Donny's childhood rescue by the "Sky-thread" (Captain Marris), when the Ash-Mist Grove on Virella burned and many perished. She also seemed intrigued by Finn, having never met a sentient autognome despite her advanced age.

She thanked the party for their help with Hollowshade Thicket, and with Donny's assurance that they could be counted on to help the Verdant Sky again if called upon, she agreed to lead a memory restoration ritual for Rynerm.

In parting, she gave Donny a small living plant that she said would facilitate future contact if properly cared for aboard the Starlight.

An elder warden of the Verdant Sky, Fenna oversees the veilroot groves and life-thread networks anchoring Virella's Song. Her hands tend both the forest and the veil itself: mending frayed ecosystems, stabilizing veil harmonics, and teaching the stewardship arts to younger stewards. She serves as the Song’s primary caretaker and the final authority on who may access its hidden sanctum.

  • Primary Warden and Steward. Oversees veilroot health, ecosystem balance, and ritual maintenance.
  • Gatekeeper for outsiders; determines who may enter, and under what terms.
  • Leads advanced rites such as restoration rituals and veilroot grafting.
  • Mentor to junior stewards and ritual botanists.

Appearance

Austere elven woman with weathered skin, pale eyes, and long silver hair in twin braids. Moss and lichen cling naturally to her cloak and hood.

Attire
Wears layered green and brown robes with vine embroidery and moss-grown textures. Carries a carved staff wrapped in living ivy. Simple, sacred, and enduring.
