Meinzer is a Tiefling employed by King Aseron as an informant and advisor. He is cold, calculating, strict, and rarely impressed, with a condescending streak.
He was ordered to help Syltorin Margaster with his acquisition of his new title of Duke of the Pines, during the quests Duchy Get Quest (Part 1) and Duchy Quest 2: Satyr Boogaloo. Following these events, he grew more subservient and reliable, but also implied that he might require Syltorin's, and First Landing's, help with some future personal quest.
He's worked with Lady Merehiki Songheart before the business with the Duchy, and finds her reports thorough and reliable. She doesn't quite trust him fully, going to great lengths to conceal some information from him.
