Merehiki is King Aseron's spy and informer in the Fey Duchy of the Pines. Briefly, during the quest Duchy Get Quest (Part 1), when she was first encountered, she used illusory magic to pose as a wooden Dryad with short leafy hair, Suma the Bartender at D&P Pizzeria and Saladeria. She's been doing this job for a while, starting with the second failed replacement for the deceased Duke Geyesh. She seems to have come from the Old World, and was associated with the Explorers' Guild of First Landing before joining the Fey Court. Merehiki has a thick Elven accent when speaking Common.
Now, having joined the Court of the Pines, she works for Syltorin Margaster as one of his advisors and a palace-keeper in Hygon of the Pines, for a relatively humble price consisting of a portion of the Duchy's revenue, and the title of Lady of Hygon Manor. She quickly established a reliable spy network, and she's running the palace and its renovation and beautification wonderfully, always providing answers; she knows suspiciously much about the Pines. Merehiki is Alan's superior, and she employs Satyrical and Foul Insanity of the Dark Moon Carnival as the Court Jesters of Hygon.
She is a rather stunning Elven beauty, somewhat tall with a curvy figure and red hair. Her body is clad in dark-red ornate leather that ends in a bright, rosy fur inlay at the tips of her bosom and middle back. This risqué outfit shows a scandalous amount of skin, but it is protective in all the vital places. Her completely bare neck leads to a pretty face adorned with two Sharp, ruby-red eyes. To complete the colour theme, she sometimes smokes red-tinted cigarettes, and she invented a red cocktail as well. She carries two curved daggers on her hips, and adorns herself in jewels.
She is confident and flirtatious, and has an air of calculated calm around her. Her personal motives are not fully known, but she otherwise doesn't hide her allegiances, methods and tactics from those she works with, though she was hiding things from Meinzer. She might be in this for the fun of it, and aims to see the least amount of people get hurt. In a way, she is more like a fictional spy from a thriller book, than a bloodthirsty shadowy assassin so often employed by nobility. She is not of noble birth, but she is educated, aims for luxury and wealth, and has the needed skills to act like a noble if needed.
According to her, she is unsettled by cages, especially small ones. She is tired of impersonating merchants, beggars and peasants, and wants to play fancier roles, like an adventurer, guard, lady, or even a consort. She writes very good reports, if Meinzer is to be believed.
Merehiki is from Continenta, which talks of a Grey Curse and a Grey World, a land where gods go to die, and souls are trapped forever between life and death. To her horror, she might have visited this place during Duchy Get Quest (Part 1), in the Millennium Forest, while helping Xylandras pass on.
During an event organised by the Assembly of the Black Lotus, Merehiki paid a visit to First Landing, together with Lord Resias, Lord Ginyesh, Alan, Foul Insanity, Satyrical, and Bertuas.
According to Bertuas, she has a brother called Riki Songheart. When he was visiting, she was "acting off".
