Foul is friends with Satyrical, and works together with her as a jester in Hygon of the Pines, at the Court of the Pines. Lady Merehiki Songheart is unsure why Satyrical insists on keeping him around, but says that he isn't an expensive hire, settling for just bed and breakfast. He is a festive-looking Unknown, though nervous and seemingly uninterested in actual entertainment.
Unlike her friend, Foul is less cheerful and playful, and sticks to the background.
He was first encountered during a social event organised by the Assembly of the Black Lotus in First Landing, when he visited together with Merehiki, Satyrical, Bertuas, Alan, Lord Resias, and Lord Ginyesh.
