Geyesh was a Unbekannt Duke in King Aseron's Fey Court of the Millennium Forest, and ruled over the Pines on the Continent, as the leader of the Court of the Pines. Now he is dead, beheaded for conspiring against his sovereign, after the guests from First Landing foiled his coup d'état during Aseron's Wedding. Svetlana Skullcrusher fashioned Geyesh' skull into a footstool for King Aseron.
He has four sons, or at least there are four Satyrs that claim him as their father - Lord Ginyesh, Freygeys, Ulaton, and Lord Resias. Following his death, according to Bulae, the Ex-Mayor of Hygon, his sons' grief quickly turned into a lust for power, though this doesn't appear to be the case for Resias and Ginyesh. Others attempted to exploit that opportunity and take leadership positions for themselves. However, excluding Freygeys, they clashed with Bulae, who was Geyesh' friend and lackey.
All five held significant power, but it is unclear what exact role they played in thwarting prospective Dukes. They weren't chosen by Aseron as the new official leaders, and it also remains unknown whether their discontent stemmed from that fact, or whether they are all a part of antiroyalist conspiracies. The sons' fury seems to be fading however.
According to Bulae, Geyesh was also friends with Lord Attys, and he made sure that Minotaurs and Pixies of the Pines were all employed in the workforce.
Geyesh turned Hygon into 'a forgotten place' and a home for the Satyrs who are a wandering lot and normally don't have an established home outside of Eleutheria, according to Lady Merehiki Songheart.
Geyesh's title and position as the Duke of the Pines were succeeded by Syltorin Margaster, and the Duchy became an independent country, though it is still politically allied with the Fey Kingdom of the Millennium Forest.
