Session notes

Starting point.

We are hanging out with the blind lady and just changed the lever's position, causing the complex to shake.

Main.

After a few words with the weird lady, we exit the room and go to the room with the inscription to see what happened. When we get there, we see a small passage, about 5 foot square, has opened and leads somewhere.

We send Whisper to check it out because he is small and sneaky, and he reports back that it leads to a ladder with a large stone block placed above it, and he heard what he thinks are the dwarves.

Sho goes next to see what he can do, and he starts making conversation with the dwarves. Nerrut hears his echoes down the hole and is confused, but Sho both ignores and tell him to be quiet. The dwarves think that some dead guy is talking again, and it is revealed that, after the dwarves move some stone, that the passage led underneath a coffin in the room the dwarves are in. Sho, with his 2 wisdom, tells the dwarves how he got there, does a bit of small talk, and retreats with the promise of bringing the dwarves the gold they want for the power core.

After he returns to the group, they decide to go back to Traveler's Rest and discuss which faction to approach when there.

We return! We're pretty battered and bruised, but not dead, so that's good. Everyone visits places on their own, some going to the local merchant, Alxana hits the baths, Nerrut takes a nap, others just chill outside the dorms.

Once we all get back together we have a discussion about which faction to join. At the start of the conversation, it was Sho and Nerrut for the Order of the Sun, Fenvalur and Alxana for the Blades of Wood, and Sorenzo undecided, and Whisper wanting the closest or the one that will get rid of his bone hurting curse from the troll the fastest. After talking about the pros and cons of each, and trying to convince everyone else, we decide to go with the Order of the Sun, Sho and Nerrut convinced that their family ties will help them in the long run.

We approach them and tell them the situation with the dwarves, and they said they will acquire the necessary funds, and meet back with us in the morning to discuss further.

We all pass out for the night, and get back to them the following morning. Nerrut decides to stay behind and guide them to the dwarves a bit after we leave to not rouse suspicion. 

We get back to the catacombs and, to kill time waiting, decide to clear out the rest of the spiders. it was a not too difficult fight, most of us not taking hits. We harvest the parts, and then wait for the Order to arrive.

Ending point.

We are currently waiting for the Order of the Sun to get to the cave so we can trade with the dwarves.
