The Ring of Winter was a golden featureless band that was constantly covered in a layer of frost that never melted. It was extremely cold to the touch and could numb the hand of its wearer. It did not seem cold to someone who had been attuned to it, however. When adorned, the Ring of Winter gave its user immense power over the winter season and affinity to ice magic which could be innately casted by the artifact. Made of elemental ice, the Ring of Winter was believed to have been constructed by ancient druids of the Forests of Frostfall in attempts to stabilize the harshening winters they were experiencing during olden times by entrapping Glacius with the rings frost magic. The elder druid Lucien Ice laid claim to the ring as his father before him adorned it before being deceived by Harkon Chillbringer as he stole it from his frozen hands.
