As the largest and burliest of JoJo's Bizzarium and their troupe of circus performers, Maxim was uniquely adept in handling the beasts of the circus. Notably, he performed an act in which he jumped from the backs of elephants to display such prowess handling the large and magnificent creatures. Possessed by a Hezrou, a powerful demon from the Plane of Khaos, Maxim covered up the circus acts nefarious doings by disposing of their victims to his trained hounds. Maxim met his end at the hands of Haellae Colaerth, when she infiltrated the underground demonic fighting pits beneath the city of Shariz.
