"The Song of Storms" is a sacred chronicle of Fujin & Raijin, the divine keepers of the Gates which lead to the Plane of Helion. It was originally written by Ryujin Hattori, and is based on his experience travelling to the Isle of Storms, where he heard it directly from the twin draconic gods themselves. It is widely understood that this edict from Fujin & Raijin became the foundation for the Y’azi Empire.
In the twilight veil of creation's birth,
Beyond the dawn of sunlit earth,
As the Archons, scaled and proud,
Strode forth from heavens veiled in cloud,
There danced two spirits, fierce and free,
Heralds of storms and eternity.
Fujin, the Whisper of Boundless Skies,
Who wove the winds where freedom flies,
With silken robes of emerald hue,
And sandals kissed by morning dew.
His breath shaped gales, both soft and wild,
A tempest's wrath, a zephyr mild.
Raijin, the Thunder's Resounding Drum,
With hands of lightning, chaos spun.
His roar split heavens, sharp and bright,
A flash that cleaved eternal night.
In golden armor, fierce and bold,
A force untamed, a legend told.
By the decree of Primus, the first divine,
Fujin and Raijin, a balance aligned.
Not sculpted as others by Helios’ hand,
But born as gods of storm and strand.
At Helion’s gate, they took their stand,
To guard the heavens from mortal demand.
Fujin whispers the paths unseen,
Through veils of air and silver sheen.
Raijin strikes with a flash of might,
Ensuring balance in day and night.
Together they form the eternal storm,
Where life and death in harmony swarm.
The wind's soft kiss, the lightning's bite,
A duality bound by eternal rite.
Where chaos reigns and silence weeps,
Their echoes stir, the balance keeps.
For Fujin rides the tempest’s cry,
While Raijin tears the shadowed sky.
Yet, though their power surges vast,
They remain two halves of one shadow cast.
For chaos, untamed, must order find,
And order thrives where chaos is kind.
Yin and yang, they dance as one,
In storms that rage beneath the sun.
From Raijin’s fury, the ground is fed,
By Fujin’s grace, new paths are tread.
Though born as gods, they watch below,
Where mortals reap the seeds they sow.
And to the pure who seek Helion’s light,
They guide with storms, both fierce and bright.
But woe to those who seek to rend,
The balance they guard, their storms will send.
In every gale and thundering cry,
Fujin breathes; Raijin replies.
Through wind and lightning, our tale is told,
A timeless song of gods of old.
Thus, their legend swirls through sky and lore,
Fujin and Raijin, forevermore.
