The Telum

The Telum are an eclectic and powerful group of druids and rangers dedicated to safeguarding Seregon. Comprised of diverse members, each bringing unique talents and elemental affinities, The Telum operate as another group of silent guardians. Their primary mission is twofold: to defend Seregon from the dangers lurking in the adjacent, untamed jungle and to halt the encroaching menace of Amber Fever, a virulent fungal infection threatening to overrun the city.

Their leader, a wise and stoic elven druid named Ilmadia Mianala, wields ancient knowledge of both the jungle's secrets and the nature of the fungal plague. Under her guidance, The Telum employ a blend of natural magic, alchemical prowess, and guerrilla tactics to neutralize threats before they reach the city walls. Members of The Telum include shapeshifters, herbalists, elementalists, and beastmasters, all working in harmony to maintain the delicate balance between urban civilization and the wild.

The Telum's headquarters is the Sacred Grove, hidden within Seregon's oldest park, a lush and verdant sanctuary in the Westerpark District, where they can connect with nature amidst the bustling metropolis. Here, they cultivate rare plants and concoct potent remedies to combat Amber Fever, distributing these lifesaving elixirs to the city's healers. By night, they patrol the city's borders and venture into the perilous jungle, thwarting the advances of predatory beasts and malevolent entities.

Their tireless efforts and deep connection to both the city and the natural world make The Telum an indispensable and revered force in Seregon, ensuring the city's continued prosperity and protection against the ever-present dangers of the wild and the encroaching fungal plague.

One of their young members has gone missing in the jungle, Clement Schoonoven, and they're on the lookout for him.

Telum Druid Circles (Based on Character Level)

Some NPC druids belonging to The Telum take up duties to protect and serve Seregon. Low level druids, which comprise the bulk of the organization, stay and work in the city. They make work in the Sacred Grove, manage flora and fauna within the city, or perform river habitat management. Higher ranking druids are qualified to protect the city farther afield. PC druids may be members of The Telum without taking up these responsibilities.
