Off the Old Svalich Road and down a twisted dirt path west of the Village of Barovia, Tser Pool was fed by the Ivlis River running from Tser Falls. Accessible via the falls or by the Ivlis River Crossroads, it notably housed a permanent Vistani encampment on the western bank, where Madam Eva had settled.
The dirt road to the encampment was a significant shortcut compared to the Old Svalich Road, which wound from the Village of Barovia to the Black Carriage Crossroads. However, the Tser Pool path grew muddy at times, slowing cart-travel, and many Barovians feared Vistani, prefering to avoid them entirely if possible.
