Bildrath Cantemir

The proprietor of Bildrath's Mercantile and uncle of "Parriwimple" Parpol Cantemir, Bildrath was known for his selfish approach to business and was deeply unpopular amongst other villagers. He never bargained, as he had no competition in the Village of Barovia, and charged ridiculous prices for mundane items. Most of the items were purchased from the desperate or robbed from abandoned houses, though there was a shoddy forge that Bildrath could make metal goods with, relying on Parriwimple for the hammering. 

His prices and personality resulted in him mostly only selling to traveling Vistani and incoming adventurers. Those from the Prime Material ended up put-off as they paid ten times the Common price.
