The highest peak in the northern Balinok Mountains and the second highest peak in the region, Mount Baratok was estimated to extend to 9253 ft at its peak, towering over the rest of the valley of Barovia. Ice from the mountain formed into tributaries that fed into Lake Zarovich, the largest lake in the region.
