A packet of Pixie Dust was a magical substance native to the Vivid Realms. When pixies flied visibly, a shower of sparkling dust followed in their wake like the glittering tail of a shooting star. A mere sprinkle of pixie dust could temporarily grant the power of flight, confuse a creature hopelessly, or send foes into a magical slumber; however, depending on the nature of the dust extracted, pixie dust typically only carried one of these effects.
