The Tree of Teralis was the largest tree and home in Xilvalur. Located in the center of Tirion Isilmírë, the palace was the rightful home of the Liege Lord of Xilvalur; for eons, this was the seat of Teralis the Evergreen. The tree was the second-largest in Somnum, after the Elfintree, but unlike its counterpart, it was not a direct Fey Crossing.
Rather, the Tree of Teralis was in actuality a type of long-dormant Treant, possibly even older than Teralis themselves. Though even the greatest of Elven druids did not know the secret to awaken the tree, it would rise at Teralis' command if the city needed defending. Too old and great to retain a personality, it would rest as soon as it was dismissed, making it not unsimilar to a Construct.
