Lûthloth Mîr, known in Common as the "Jewel of the Inflorescence" or the "Dreamflower Gem", was one of the most closely-guarded and mysterious of the known Epochal Artifacts. It was a magical gemstone of ever-shifting colour, propped by latticed Mithral like the inflorescence of surrounding gemstones in a flowered pattern, themselves evoking myriad colours. Lûthloth Mîr was originally a gift from the Azure Paragon to Teralis the Evergreen, created by harnessing the magic of a Leyline to the Astral Border and shaped to the preference of the Archdruid.
Much like the Astral Border itself, the powers of Lûthloth Mîr were seemingly myriad, but never well-documented magical effects. The stone could act as both a Scrying mirror and Portal to at least any location in the Wood of Ara'mírë, transporting a creature instantaneously with planar power. When a sufficiently skilled Spellcaster looked through such a portal, they could completely alter a visible creature's state of mind with both Telepathy and impossibly powerful illusions. Generally, they would possess creatures to turn away from the woods, but significantly more destructive mental effects could also be applied.
As a conduit of the Astral, the epochal artifact had no known limits to its magic. In conjunction with magical alarms and scrying sensors placed throughout the forest, the Elven guards of Xilvalur used these powers to make their capital a virtually impregnable bastion. It had stayed in the possession of Xilvalur for the entirety of its known history, kept in a small ring of purple wood, and never left the capital of Tirion Isilmírë.
