In Break-In At Bleak End, Mica was interrupted before the night before he boarded the Rocking Seal. He was knocked out, blindfolded, and taken to the hull of a ship as prisoner. He would later learn that he had been replaced by a thief; similarly, Kennekelle Palmer, Persimmon Copperpot, and Yula Stormwhistle suffered the same fate. The four were blindfolded and bound for more than a week, served food by sailors, then deposited back to Farrozandmar at midnight, never learning who their captors were.
An inquisition from Aone Island would later come for them, but their lack of involvement became evident after hours of questioning.
