Redford is the biggest city and previous capital of the Kingdom of Othiria. The city is located on the southern part of the continent of Thaelia. Roughly one tenth of the total population of the kingdom lives here. Redford has a big port on the Changing Lake.
Geography
Situated by the Changing Lake, Redford is located on the Clova Steppe, and a six days ride from the capital Drunah.

A small Dragonborn tribe and another one of Goliaths live westwards from Redford, and their rivalry often end up hurting small villages nearby.

House MacPhaidenheads the city with the help of the Maesters as council members. The previous ruler was Sephan MacPhaiden. When Sephan became king, his cousin Jaron MacPhaiden.

History
Redford was originally a fort build 800 years ago named Red Fort, for the colour of the lake it sits by. The fort expanded into a town, and the castle was build 500 years ago, changing the name to Redford.
