Rufus Silverbank was the ruler of Feniton for a few years following Jamie Aaron's rule. He was eventually found guilty for killing Jamie Aaron and executed for treason.
First Campaign
While not officially registered as having a Guild, Rufus has amassed considerable wealth in his life as a security contractor for important deliveries from and to Feniton. Dissatisfied with the rule of Jamie Aarons, he used his private militia to overthrow the previous ruler and name himself king.
His motives are to bring stability and more importantly, more military power to Feniton, which he sees as able to provide a strong military force in the region, capable of unifying the free cities of the Golden and Silver Coasts.
But in reality, he was secretly paid by the Council of Triumph, but there is no trace. Their conditions for the financing of his wealth were for him to, in the next 5 years, cancel the contest so that the city has more power over the finances and taxes. With his 5 years coming up, he will sabotage the competition to show how flaved it is, to justify canceling it in the eyes of the public.
The current city contractors, or most likely those to win the next contest, are the Silver Arrow.
