Grodon Hammerbreaker was a petty male dwarven thief from the town of Enida. He controlled a small thieve's guild called Hammerfall. He was killed in 1005 AC during a fire that burnt his home.
Previous Campaign
The players won’t find Grodon, he will come to them, or at least not directly. One evening in an Inn, while they are eating, Grodon will enter with some of his goons and sit somewhere in the Inn. This will cause the mood to go down, until one of his goons shouts “Can someone get us some fucking beer? Or do we have to do everything here ourselves too?!”. If the players look at Grodon, the same goon will shout “What u lookin’ at? Neva seen a real Dwarf Lord? Show some respect if u don wanna have to sleep outside!”, before going back to his business.
The next day, when walking around town, one of Grodon’s goons will approach the party and tell them and tell them to follow him “best not have the lord waiting, he doesn’t enjoy waiting”.
Grodon knows the party isn’t from Feniton, so he wants to recruit them for the Contest, to have better chances (his men are mostly weak), and also to find out if they are here by chance, or if they are here by an order. One of his dragonborn recognised Aesh, and so Grodon proposes that he can help the party out, given that they win the contest, in putting Aesh in power of her old clan (her flaw).
