The following scenes took place via text, outside of a session.
28th Vult, 999 YK - The Znir Pact
- The party go and speak to the Znir Pact in the aftermath of the disaster of the Droaam Summit.
- There are many wounded gnolls, many of which seem to still be struggling against the influence of The Wild Heart. Rhahn explains that they will be taken back to the Znir, where the Hwyri can help them.
- They try to gauge the Znir's thoughts on what happened, but the Znir seem steadfast in their support of the Daughters of Sora Kell.
- Those who didn't already have Myrnaxes are given them, with Jharl stating they came from the fallen.
- The gnolls declare that the party are Siblings, they are of the Pact. Ghyrryn states that the Pact will not fight them, and will aide them if possible.
- Dax also states that if it comes to war with Droaam, she won't fight the Pact.
- Lozaal tries to help Fharg with the wounded, but a wounded gnoll snaps at him and Fharg calls him prey (and then tells him he is not offended.)
- Lozaal asks the gnolls if they know of any ghosts, possibly near the Byeshk Mountains. Rhahn explains that she knows of ghosts, but they moved "when the sky burned."
- Rhahn explains that she'd seen the ghosts, and that they were disturbed by the "corpses that walk and the wolf that laughs"
- The gnolls mention a "sister", which seems to refer to the Wolf that Laughs. Terfel thinks this might be referring to Greykell ir'Ryc. Further questioning seems to confirm this, the laughing wolf came to Droaam and entered Nasaar Kol, but the ruin was opened by Karrns.
- Dax' Athla helps with the wounded, intimidating them into submission.
28th Vult - The Wolf That Laughs
- Following the discussion with the gnolls, Terfel mentions that he has heard the name "The Laughing Wolf" before, it's what the soldiers called Greykell ir'Ryc.
- It seems that Terfel Glas was the only person who actually knew about Greykell's history or her mission in Droaam! He explains to the others that Greykell has previously been to Droaam on a mission, and seemingly may have encountered the Kech Nasaar.
- Kalshana uses Sending to contact Greykell.
Sendings
Kalshana: "Hi Greykell. We met in High Walls Anyway, this is important for Cyre - will explain soon. Tell me about your trip to Droaam, please. Kal"
Greykell: "Hello. I won't get much across in just 25 words. What do you need to know specifically?"
Kalshana: "We met some gnolls who mentioned The Laughing Wolf who Terfel suggests is you."
Greykell: "That is what the soldiers called me during the war. I ran a mission in Droaam, fighting Karrnath. We got captured by the gnolls"
28th Vult, 999 YK - Sheshka, Queen of Stone
- The party go and speak to Sheshka, and gauge her reaction to what has happened.
- Sheshka has lost much, perhaps more so than anyone else, but she is conflicted. Zerasha did not warn her of what would happen either, which leads her to believe they had reason not to.
- Sheshka is frustrated at the result of the summit, though she understands why the delegates feel the way they do.
- Sheshka does not believe that the Daughters of Sora Kell will lead Droaam into war with the Five Nations, she thinks it would be suicide.
- Dax' Athla states that she believes in the people of Droaam, and would be welcome in New Cyre or Avrahk Mbar'ost, but the Daughters are not welcome.
- Sheshka will return to Cazhaak Draal shortly, where she will see to those she has lost. She will then seek volunteers to go to New Cyre, provided her terms are met.
- Oargev remembers, they must build a Shrine to the Shadow. More than that though, Sheshka requests that her people be defended. If harm should befall her envoys, she will not send more.
- They each assure the Queen of Stone, in their own way, that her people will be protected. Dax asks if they'll need an escort through Breland, though Sheshka thinks she can arrange something with Breland itself for that.
- Lozaal asked Sheshka about the "Laughing Wolf", and she recalls an incident years ago where one of her people captured both sides of a conflict between Cyran and Karrnathi forces near Nasaar Kol. Sheshka then clarifies that Nasaar Kol is a ruin north of Turakbar's Fist.
- Dax asks if Sheshka has spoken to Harryn since last night. She has not, and doesn't wish to. She explains that they were close, more than friends, but she has had time to move on and he hasn't.
- There is some discussion on the nature of the Draconic Prophecy.
- Dax asks how Sheshka honours the dead. Sheshka explains that they will be returned to the stone, where their stories will be recorded in granite and marble, before their soul continues on to The Keeper and then their final resting place.
28th Vult - Kalshana and Terfel
- Kalshana and Terfel Glas have a tense confrontation about what happened the previous night. There is some trauma that needs to be processed.
- Whilst Kal and Terfel were fighting, Dax' Athla played "Would You Rather?" with the others.
- There was a tender moment between Terfel and Warden after Warden gave him a banana (which Warden had received from Lozaal)
1st Zarantyr, 1000 YK - The Road Ahead
- The party discuss what to do next, where to go. Dax' Athla raises that she needs to return to Flamekeep to look for the Sacred Bell of Saint Cassia, and also that she promised to help Fallen.
- Warden mentions that at some point he needs to return to Batul to further his training, but he doesn't think he's ready yet.
- Lozaal Daashor mentions that he wants to investigate Nasaar Kol, as several of the recent conversations have mentioned it. He's hoping he'll find the Kech Nasaar there.
- Everyone agrees to go with Lozaal to investigate Nasaar Kol.
- Dax goes to speak to Drego Sarhain and request that he accompany them. Dax wants further magical training, feeling inadequate after the fight with Drulkalatar Atesh, the Feral Hand. She also asks for Drego's help with Fallen.
- Drego states that he needs to speak with Luala first, and send a message back to Flamekeep, but he doesn't anticipate anything preventing him from joining them.
- Lozaal Daashor, hearing the conversation, informs Dax via mindlink that Drego cannot accompany them to Nasaar Kol. Dax informs Drego that she hadn't checked with her companions first, and he can't go with them to Nasaar Kol.
- Drego is sad.
- Dax asks if there is time for a lesson, and Drego asks what she'd like to learn. She learns Hypnotic Pattern for now, until she can afford more.
