The party makes their way to Valleladi, where, before meeting up with Martin Courbet, the group goes on a shopping spree. At the Ancient Sprite, a magic item shop run by a feywild-born Satyr, the party managed to buy a magical sheep-plush for Volk Lesnoy, but also some magical ointment as well as another magical plush called a "Bird of a Feather" for Sooty. They also visited the Genesis Forge, run by a Giff man from off-world. The party only bought a gun for Philomena Snapdragon there. The party then met with Martin Courbet and went on their way.
A few days later, the party did go through Leonsa on their way. Philomena hid as some people were collecting alms for the church of Ilmater. This then evolved into a talk where Philomena revealed that she got in trouble back at one of the capitals of Graern, Stokker, after stealing a holy artifact from the Church of Ilmater. The party then talked to her about it, explained how things work on the Material Plane in detail, and Philomena decided to find a way to find that artifact once more and return it.
The party, after a few more days, arrived back in Argentis, where they said goodbye to Martin and went on to visit a jeweler to sell the gems found on their last excursion. Another talk between Dareth Lion'el and Mikhail later, where Mikhail admitted he had no idea about jewelry, and some friendly banter with the jeweler woman, Mikhail eventually bought a silver chain necklace. Dareth meanwhile was interested in a silver brooch with a motif of a howling wolf at a Moon with a single diamond for 150 Gold. He asked the jeweler to put it aside for him for later.
The party then returned to the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild Headquarters, seeing a Drow woman taken away in chains. Inside, the party saw Captain Ukren Schwerter, Kilbi Leaftooth and Scruffy trying to cheer up a very distraught Marlène Lebas. Turns out Marlène was tricked by this woman, acting as a freelance adventurer. This drow woman, Nathrae Elerhafin, befriended Marléne in order to gain access to the storage where evidence of her illicit acts. However, Scruffy and his team, now called The Lucky Sevens, were able to stop this.
As Ukren then met with the Party, he congratulated them on the well-done jobs, and gave them a week off. On their way to their rooms however, Mikhail noticed a card on the ground... The Knight in reversed position, which was given to Marlène by the fortune teller for her future... It then mysteriously disappeared from Mikhail's hand as everyone was looking at Marlène.
During this week of downtime, Volk started his 2nd of nine weeks of training for the Piercer Feat, and Sooty his week 2 of 7 to train for the War Caster Feat. Philomena proceeded to do some crime and steal some money, 200 Gold exactly... and anonymously donated half of it to a church of Ilmater in the city. Zora and Dareth will have their downtime resolved later on.
Mikhail, thinking about the cards, decided to do what the fortune teller lady recommended and find the help of a cleric. On his way to the Central Temple in Argentis, he noticed that his symbol of Ursa Major was glowing softly, as if to beckon him inside. Inside, Mikhail then met Father Arilki Rayshine, the local Merikiraist priest and, despite Mikhail's initial reservations, the two had a talk. After Mikhail opened up about his family to Arilki, he gave Mikhail some well-needed advice, and also told him the story of Rencal Kei-Rhai, the War of Shadows and the creation of Tirrdaka and Shadow/Light-Walkers, as well as the birth of Sh'ther Kei-Sihr, with the moral at the end being "The Shadows can destroy, but they can also protect what's important", to ease Mikhail's heart. Mikhail took this to heart and promised to be back someday soon. On his way out, he met Zendria Rayshine, who was on her way to bring her grandfather his lunch. The two had a pleasant talk and Mikhail headed home... where he found the Priest-card on his desk.
