The party, with Veritas Avaritia's help, makes it back to Sancstoryl with no further incidents. Veritas highly urges his new friends to come visit him sometime, and reminds Limni Diluvi about the ship after the mission is done. After he left, Cipactli Hatched-At-Dawn, a bit annoyed, reminded Limni that it was a gift so that he could go to space, too, but Limni just said that he'll figure something out later.
Upon returning to Argentis, Limni and M.U.61 visited the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild to speak to Maylin Aeleni, in order to extend the timeframe of the mission, which has gone on longer than intended. Meanwhile, Volk Lesnoy and Philomena Snapdragon went to A Taste of Home top catch up with Dareth Lion'el Griffmane and Mikhail; though not with Zora, as she still was gone, and, according to Volk's precognition, somewhere in Magrasta. He also loads off the blue Kobold-Egg of "Volk Jr." with Galto and Kilbi Leaftooth, who are both a bit overwhelmed with the sudden responsibility.
Volk then meets up with both Mikhail, and later Dareth, showing off his new treasures and talking about his exploits in Sanctospace. Mikhail doesn't particularly care, but Dareth needs to hold his envy in check a little. It's also noted that Dareth tried to buy several swords to combine with his Buzzing Longsword, but Mikhail kept him from doing so. Now, Volk wants to gift him the Blue Dragon Horn so that he can combine it with his sword. Dareth graciously accepts the offer, then buys himself several Sending-Scrolls and contacts Nax Skyscale (due to being uncomfortable with asking Ione Plutarch due to her religion), to ask if he knows someone who could work the horn into his blade, combining them into a single item. He then proceeded to talk to Philomena a bit.
Dareth and Mikhail then have a talk. It's clear to Mikhail that Dareth is itching to go adventuring again, even though idling was fun. Mikhail finished his Spell Sniper training early in the two months Volk and Philomena were gone, and mostly managed the restaurant since them, but agreed to accompany Dareth to the last stop in Limni's Mission, so that he can adventure.
After reconvening with Limni and M.U.61, both of which got extensions on the mission until at least the early month of Apar, the party, with Dareth and Mikhail in tow, continued their way towards their next destination, Vilarreaz, where the Sword of Justice, an artifact of Atira, was seemingly located. This travel took about 9 days.
Upon arrival in the Villareazan town of Laxa, the party, consisting of Limni, Volk, Philomena, Dareth, Cerviel and Suzzaeth then met up with their next contact; a gruff-looking but actually fairly jovial Bearfolk man called Gorrim Frostwatch, who'd help to escort them across the frigid tundra. Gorrim told the party that he knew who owns the Sword of Justice at the moment; the village chief of Hallgeirsey, a bearfolk man called Bergram Frostfur. Bergram is a honorable man, and would likely just give the sword up if the party explained how important it is to Limni's culture. Nonetheless, the party would need to get there first.
He proposed a path going through most of the local settlements; going to Frooa to Kerseyrr, only skipping the town of Hagi, known for its winter-honey mead; saddening Volk a little. The party agreed, not wanting to be slowed down by mountains between, and the first leg of travel, to Frooa, began.
Two days into the travel, the party came across some ice floes with a ton of seals. Originally intending to ignore them and move on, Philomena was suddenly grabbed by some tendrils coming from a maw on the seal's back; Gorrim identified them as "Birgemon Seals".
And with that, the party fought back. However, especially with Volk's abilities and Suzzaeth's power, the party was ultimately victorious. Upon their victory, Gorrim chuckled and merely said "Welp, welcome to Vilarreaz!"
