Start: 10th of Venusta, morning. Waking up in the Split Chest Pub with Princess in Verdobe looking for the local individual wielding the shield Coda.
Bill's Bimbos started their search at the HQ of the Oxblood Outriders. Immediately, tensions were high, and Rohtagels got into a fight with the pyromancer Kellis Fryn. He won, and Crax Goobadink taunted the Oxblood Outriders with a magical loser banner. Hostilities rose, but were defused by Calliope and the healer, Vekka Moonstitch who healed Kellis Fryn, who seemed excited to have a good sparring partner. After asking about a one armed man, Vekka Moonstitch directed them to the lounge/infirmary where a pair of Oxblood Outriders were recovering from some wounds - including Thal Ironstoke, who was missing his left arm. Asking and reading his mind, Aoife Sweeney determined he lost his arm when he and another Oxblood Outriders went to investigate/intimidate Princess in the newly settled Split Chest Pub. Duke ate his arm off.
Leaving the Oxblood Outriders HQ from there, Rohtagels having made a new friend and the others making many enemies, Calliope cast Etherealness and investigated the rest of the building. He found several communal bedrooms, a metal vault on the second floor containing much of the loot of the Oxblood Outriders, and a closed study in the center of the second floor. Int he study was Garven Draxx, the leader of the Oxblood Outriders. He was reviewing one of several maps laid out in the study - Calliope looked closer and saw it was a map of the Fyrbak Desert with Verdobe marked on the right side, many X's spread out through the desert with more concentrated closer to the city, 7 O's near the fringe of the mass of X's, and a ? NW of Verdobe surrounded by X's. Returning to the group, Bill's Bimbos decided to investigate that ? location out in the desert. They had a somewhat more pleasant encounter with Reg in which the bought food and water, and headed out into the desert.
Day 1 of traveling, the afternoon of the 10th of Venusta, the party encountered no hostile creatures but several members had differing visions of creatures wandering the desert in the sand-blown distant.
Day 2 of traveling, the 11th of Venusta, the visions continued but did not engage with the party. Dennis spotted a group of Trolls led by an Orthon charging up their sand dune - these were real and attacked. The party defeated the group, and saw they emerged from several divets in the sand by some mostly-buried stone brick pillars. Aoife Sweeney cast Air Bubble on the party and, determining that the divets were loose sand and could be used to quickly descend, jumped in. The rest of Bill's Bimbos followed, swallowed by the sand.
End: 11th of Venusta, midday, sinking into the sand of the Fyrbak Desert outside of the buried temple. Main party with Dennis.
