An Elven mage tasked with teaching advanced students, Xvim is a junior member of House Wrenlow and generally removed from its political aspects, and is the Grandmaster of the Grand Order Training Tower and current Head of the Grand Order of Wizards. While he is known amongst his colleagues in the Grand Order of Wizards to be extremely skilled, he is considered the worst mentor by many students due to his harsh teaching methods, expectations of perfection and constant complaining about the poor quality of modern teaching.
However, there is method to this seeming madness. Any student who withstands the first few months of Xvim's tutorship is normally rewarded with a clear idea of their own limitations and a tailored development plan. Xvim devotes considerable time to his few students, and his seemingly brutal training methods are more intended as a trial by fire to show the students the limits of their abilities, due to his belief that one cannot improve unless they know what is the upper limit of their ability at the start.
As an Archmage of the Grand Order he is sent out on occasion to deal with especially dangerous magical threats.
