The Zhentarim, also known as The Black Network, is a mercenary company and mercantile syndicate that operates across Faerûn. The organization has a long and storied history in which its goals changed considerably, ranging from the purely mercenary goal of providing ANY services for coin to the much more nefarious goals of controlling all of Faerûn for the greater glory and power of the evil gods Bane and Cyric.
