Horselord's Retreat Inn

Inside the walls of Clatterton is a comfortable inn that has served adventures and nobles for over a hundred years. The current owner of the Horselord's Inn is Falster Brown and his wife Amma. The inn itself is a wood and stone construction and can accommodate up to nine guests, however in times of dire need, Falster and his wife have slept in the common room and rented out their own room on the main floor.

Not counting their room, the main floor has three decent sized rooms with comfortable beds, but no individual gear storage. These run 2 sp per night. On the upper floor (known as the suites) there are three rooms; one double room with writing desks, chests, and chamber pot service for 5 sp per night, a master suite with a secure brazier, a stocked writing desk, fur blankets, and feather pillows, chambermaid service, and a secure iron-bound chest for storing valuables. This room runs for 3 GP per night. Finally, there's a smallish two-person room that has a secure shared storage locker and is designed for smaller folk, but an average human can cramp into the beds if necessary. This room costs 3 sp per night.

On the lowermost floor of the inn is a stone-floored common room where some locals come to eat and drink. It is intended for guests, and when the inn is at full capacity, the outer door is locked to the public. Here guests can consume local brews (varies by time of year) and feast on Amma's famous carrot stew. The best nights involve a mix of travelers and locals, which draws an Ado Domari fortune-teller who will read the fates for a single copper.

With the proper amount of persuasion, Falster has allowed larger parties or parties with little means to use the common room for sleeping, pushing back tables, and clearing the middle for blankets and kits. On those nights, Amma's meals do not come with the cost of the room, but the guests can use the main hearth to cook their own food. Cost for this service is 2 CP per night per guest.
