El-Bayir, often called the World or the Prime Material Plane to planar geographers (this name, though, is an oversimplification), is a planet which is the location of the Campaigns. El-Bayir's creation is a mystery, but it was shaped into its present form by Bouwen and Decte and is separated from the Abyss by the stars of Sirda and sky of Safpess, and it is illuminated by the Sun of Zot.
The name "El-Bayir" is Celestial for "Home of the Gods."
