Kro I, also called The Teacher in Pelegon, was a monk and devout worshipper of Odion, as well as a freelance adventurer. In his travels, he was attacked by a bandit company called the Direwolves and killed all except a young man. He was spared by Kro, who instilled in him a desire to learn about Odion and the Gods at large. The same night, a star fell in the region, which the man took as a religious omen.

Kro played a part in the Pelegonic Conquest, being found and recruited by the Prophet Emperor to serve as his first Archpriest. He is considered the founder of the Pelegonic Church, and is revered as a minor deity. 

Kro would serve as Archpriest for eighty-eight years, establishing the core tenets and structure of the Pelegonic Church and its faith. He died suddenly during the reign of Oderion II, whom he had frequently clashed with, leading to widespread claims of foul play and contributing to Oderion’s demise. Upon his death, he was deified by the Church.
