Downtime FAQ
What is Downtime
Downtime is what your character does when not adventuring. They can be used in a variety of ways by your characters to help with adventuring or better their life.
When do you get Downtime
As long as your character has played in at least one game, your character automatically receives four (4) weeks of Downtime at the beginning of each month. These do not expire.
How to use Downtime
When you are ready to use Downtime, track it in #Downtime-activities channel in Discord.
What Downtime activities are there
You can find the activities and the rules for them in Xanthar's Guide to Everything. XGtE we allow include:
Buying a Magic Item (See Downtime in Orion Rules and Errata)
Carousing
Crafting Potions
Crime
Gambling (only bets between 1 and 1000gp)
Pit Fighting
Relaxation
Religious Service
Research
Scribing a Spell Scroll
Selling a Magic Item
Training

Complications
Sometimes you will encounter complications while doing Downtime. PM GMs in #questions to see if one will be able to resolve the complication. This is usually a short (2 - 10 minute) 'quest'.
