Adibo

Angles and Lines

Description

One half of the Demon Lord of Fathoms. After falling into a trap crafted by Order, No Name Can Hold Me became two separate entities imprisoned within their design.

Adibo is the warlock patron of Vic'tel Vianrodeth (Chim). It appears to have benevolent intentions.

As a being of Fathoms, Adibo by nature communicates abstractly. It refers to others with titles instead of names.

Within the Campaign

Liutubang, including Vic'tel, had their first two-way contact with Adibo in The Tower. It communicated with an artificial voice and provided indirect answers to the party's inquiries. Within the tower, Liutubang found its windows to the Material Plane in the form of display screens. Adibo later gave them the warning to flee Aduwo when she attacked.

Adibo's later attempts to communicate with Vic'tel manifested as nightmares. Over time, the dream clarified as one that Vic'tel's father, Olmus Vianrodeth, had experienced. This was the event that sent King Olmus to the surface.

Adibo was revealed to have at least one other warlock in the form of Aruna Patil

History

Adibo initially connected with Olmus Vianrodeth. It sent him dreams that were ignored until Adibo began to reach out instead to his youngest son, Vic'tel.

When Vic'tel was murdered, Adibo offered him the chance to keep living. It gave him no terms. Vic'tel accepted and Adibo resurrected him. It is believed that the body Vic'tel's soul inhabits is not his original, as his corpse was sighted among those of his family after the coup.
