Leif is a large individual standing roughly 7 feet tall, blond of hair and blue eyes. Their Norwegian descent is notable and notorious, their hair usually braided back in fashion of old. They're a Vampire and an incredibly old one, though only recently awoken in an ancient tomb by Bradan, the remnants of a prophecy laid bare inside the old ruin in which they were found. Shamed by their old clan now long since dead and turned vampire to be denied Valhalla, they spent much of their time as a hermit on the island. A folk creature that guarded woodsmen from nature and led them back home when those who wandered too far were lost. Now in the present day, they are a history professor at the University, irony knowing no bounds. They struggle still to adapt to the modern world and find a new place amongst civilization.

Flavor Requirements

Parts of your character might call for specific "flavor requirements." 

  • Answer The Call: Leif is dutybound by the norse gods to heed the call of their allies in times of duress. When a summon is made, wherever Leif happens to be they are dutybound to come to their protection. In most cases, they aperate out of a cloud of ravens, ferried by Hunnin and Munin, Odin's messengers. Or at least aspects of the entites.
  • Combat Reflexes: Leif spent many long years as a viking raider, most notable for the raid on Luchamor a thousand years ago. Their combat skills are honed to predatory instincts, further enhanced by their vampiric nature.
  • Loner: Leif has a hard time trusting people, but that doesn't mean that they won't help. When someone needs their assistance, they're more than happy to oblige though getting them to go out for a drink might need some convincing.
  • Very Fast: Leif is inhumanly fast, their vampiric nature allowing them to move at blurring speeds. While they might not be elegant, it's like trying to stop a charging bull.
  • Vow: Leif has taken a vow before the norse gods to help those that need their aid, be it a strong arm or their other timely experience. The world they live in is not their own, but whatever good they can bring they feel an obligation to try.

Backstory Connections
List the characters you are connected to, the story between you, and who gets what Leverage. Everyone must do at least three connections. 

  • Bradan found Leif's tomb and inadvertently awoke the sleeping giant. Now with his assistance they are attempting to reintegrate themselves in to the modern world.
  • Leif made a friend in the form of Rickshaw at the local gym and martial arts school. While the martial arts aspect goes over their head, no one can object to their raw physical power.
  • Cillian is a prior student of Leif that they've kept in contact with. Though they are not the greatest teacher on campus, Leif is a font of knowledge that has no issue with being stemmed from.
