General Information
Lord Pkharmat was the leader of the Ironflow noble family of ancient Dwarves, who lived in Crucible 2. He was the founder and owner of "Anbaric Industries", and the inventor of "artifical anbaricity", aka man-made electricity.
Crucible 2: Manor
Pkharmat's manor and business quarters are located on the upper levels of Crucible 2, relatively close to the makeshift entrance made by the adventurers of the Explorers' Guild.
The rooms contained within are as follows.
The entrance, which displayed the portrait of Lord Pkharmat (see below).
The first floor corridor, which contained the core of the Adjutant (see below), and led to the entrance, the kitchen, the hidden storage room, the wardrobe, and the dining hall.
The kitchen. Contained the skeleton of the chef (see below), no food (understandably, since it all rotted to dust), and curiously, no cutlery or dishes.
The hidden storage room. Contained the remnants of sacks, which were animated and attacked a visiting party.
The wardrobe, where visitors could leave their coats and gifts.
The dining hall
The second floor corridor, which contained the Lift-robot (see below), and led to the bedroom and the office.
The bedroom that used to be opulent, but no longer is, stripped of all valuables like a carcass stripped of meat by vultures. It is apparent where the riches were once embedded in the rotten, collapsed furniture, or in the wall behind the bed - a cavern wall, unpolished and unrefined, in its true rough state. There are traces of crystals and ore veins all throughout, but they were drained in the meantime, crudely. The bedroom contained the Clockwork Gramophone, and the Clockwork Photograph (see below).
The office. Contained the letter of the assistant, blueprints and schematics of various inventions, a paper shredder, a light writer, and a grand clock (see below).
The staff he employed here includes:
- Dwarven Butler, mentioned by the Adjutant, but not encountered.
- Dwarven Chef, whose skeleton was found in the kitchen. It is missing its lower half, and has a prosthetic arm, which in turn contained a Ring of Sustenance made of ironwood, and shaped in the form of a telescoping finger. Taken by Jericho Grimwalker.
- Dwarven Assistant, whose Haunt was bound to her final letter. She briefly assaulted Vhel, but was swiftly put to rest. Her letter was cryptic, but mentioned the doom that the Dwarves were bringing upon themselves. She intended to leave the city with her partner and children, but clearly didn't.
His belongings here include:
- The Unbekannt, which was taken by the visiting group during Deus ex Machina. An artifically intelligent holographic assistant, whose 'mind' is contained within a portable core. Taken by a party.
- Lift-robot, which carried a spacious cage to lift people from the first floor of the manor to the second. Currently broken and without its power core - a large, drained aeon stone, taken by a party.
- Clockwork Gramophone, a curious little thing with spiderlike legs. The music coming from it is a Dwarven folksong sung by Pkharmat's granddaughter. Taken by Vhel.
- Clockwork Photograph, which displays Pkharmat and his granddaughter. The gears behind the image move, animating it when the crank is wound. Taken by Tamiko Sato of House Miyagawa.
- Portrait of Pkharmat, in the room right in front of the manor.
- A Paper Shredder, a Light Writer, and a Grand Clock, in the office. Originally, they were far more complex and included advanced functionality, but those were irreversibly stripped apart.
- Presumably, many more belongings, but they were all taken in the meantime.
Relations
Pkharmat had a granddaughter, whom he called "pebble". This might imply the existence of direct offspring.
