Captain Sereg Kerkhof

Dead
Founder of Seregon

Founder of Seregon.

Serg Kerkhof never met a situation he didn't want to change. He meddled in every city, tribe, crew and relationship to change it to his liking. He was a known womanizer, often in communities where he didn't belong.

Captain Kerkhof, a renowned sea captain, is also known for his bold exploits, founded the coastal city of Seregon after years of exploration. Many of his exploits involved a mad dash back to the ship, as he was discovered sleeping with a chiefs daughter or making children cry by calling them weak. Early in his settlement’s history, he led a brutal campaign against The Greycaps, or mushroom men. This historical event is known as The Greycap Massacre, massacring many in a bid to secure the land. The retaliation is known as The Time of Sadness, when the inhabitants of Seregon simply disappeared. It is presumed they were kidnapped. They were never seen again, and Captain Kerkhof was never the same again.

Years later, seeking redemption and stability for his city, Kerkhof reached out to the surviving Myconid. Through diplomacy and mutual understanding, he forged a lasting peace, allowing both the city and the myconid community to flourish together. His legacy is marked by both his initial brutality and his later efforts to reconcile and build harmony. The Greycaps are now instrumental in Seregon's survival in this harsh land.
