The Guide Authority consists of registered guides.

Guides charge 5 gp per day, and payment for 30 days up front is standard, even if the expedition is expected to be shorter than that. Alternatively, guides might forgo wages in exchange for an equal share of treasure.

Anyone can adventure outside of town, but guiding without authority of the Guide Authority is illegal. Those looking for a guide should contact the Guide Mistress at the harbormasters office, Welara Wisehand.
