Wrath-Amon, in the Valley of Valusia, is the self-proclaimed Lizardfolk Warlock King. He is a menacing and ambitious figure whose rise to power is steeped in dark magic and manipulation. Revered by his followers and feared by his enemies, Wrath-Amon has become the focal point of a growing movement to restore the Thuum’ha, or "Voiceless Ones," to their former glory, while simultaneously exacting revenge on Seregon that once destroyed them. He was defeated but not killed in the Storming of Valusia Keep.
Physical Description:
Wrath-Amon is an imposing lizardfolk of formidable stature. His scales are a deep, iridescent green, flecked with patches of crimson that shimmer ominously in dim light. His eyes, slitted like those of a serpent, glow with an otherworldly hue—an unsettling, pulsing light that betrays his connection to the Shining Trapezohedron, the ancient and malevolent artifact through which he channels his dark magic. His jagged teeth, always visible in a predatory grin, only add to his fearsome appearance.
Draped in ceremonial robes of black and red, adorned with bones, feathers, and relics of his fallen enemies, Wrath-Amon wields a gnarled staff topped with a fragment of the Trapezohedron itself. The staff hums with raw, untamed magic, its power clearly unstable but terrifyingly effective.
Background and Rise to Power:
Wrath-Amon was once an outcast among the lizardfolk tribes, born with an unnatural affinity for magic, which his people distrusted. He was scorned for his obsession with the Great Old One, Bokrug, a deity most believed was better left undisturbed. However, his fortunes changed when he discovered the Shining Trapezohedron, an ancient artifact said to be a conduit to Bokrug himself, hidden deep within the Red Ziggurat of Bokrug.
With the Trapezohedron in his possession, Wrath-Amon harnessed dark magics and began communing with the slumbering god. This connection granted him immense power, both in sorcery and in influence over the lizardfolk tribes. He proclaimed himself the chosen of Bokrug and began uniting the scattered and feuding tribes under his command. Those who opposed him were swiftly crushed, their bodies sacrificed to Bokrug in grisly rituals meant to further fuel his growing strength.
