Helene Danforth

Helene born of minor noble stock in Cliffsunder to an eternally-struggling house. Attending the Whiteharbour Academy as most of her lineage had, she was an attractive woman who insisted to the world that her family had made a massive turnaround. A regular patron of the Cliffsunder Museum of Natural History, she generally attended museum events to appear philanthropic and academic, though in reality cared very little about the discipline. 

Despite Helene's presentation, rumors swirled that she actually possessed very little money, and adorned herself with fancy hats and jewelry to cover this embarrassing fact. She was known as an incredible gossip with an outrageous laugh, and lived a life of luxury beyond her means in Cliffsunder.
