Born of to the throne of Vael’thirion, Nephinae was considered a special prodigy even amongst her high Elven kin. Before the age of 200, she had mastered all Schools of Magic, though specialized in evocation Spellcraft, and was considered an Archmage; not long after, she was named the Eldar Queen of all Ardhon Miniel. She was estimated to be one of the most capable wizards in history, and possibly the single most powerful Mortalkind of her age. After her coronation, she was the only elf allowed to touch Fairësercë Rána, the great protector of Ardhon Miniel.
As Eldar Queen, Nephinae considered herself responsible for protecting all known elven lands outside Xilvalur, and in bearing this responsibility, she considered herself the ultimate ruler of the most magically important place in Head of the Greatwyrm. Accordingly, she adopted a name in the Common tongue: "Nephinae the Far-Seer", an extension of Vael'thirion being the "Sanctuary of the Far-Seeing". Despite her pridefulness, Nephinae was considered to be incredibly wise by her peers and lower royalty in Vael'thirion. She consolidated as much power as possible over centuries of her rule, but as the city flourished, her pride and vanity were considered to be justified.
