Located in central Barovia, this seemingly unimportant crossroad laid just southwest of the stone bridge crossing the Luna River. The well-worn Old Svalich Road split here, and a broken signpost gave directions in an "X": Krezk and Tsolenka Pass to the southwest, Lake Baratok to the northwest, Vallaki and Ravenloft to the northeast, and Berez to the southeast.
The branch to Lake Baratok eventually became a dirt path that sprouted to Khazan's Tower, but continued until reconnecting with the road.
