They varied in strength, viscosity, and flavor, but were most commonly a thick liquid of light blue that glimmered when agitated. Varieties were often categorized by their magical efficacy, typically referred to as "greater", "superior", and "supreme". Their value increased exponentially based on rarity and power.
Many healing potions were marked with a universal triangular sign, or more complex triangle extending fractals. The symbol was used by healers and potion makers to indicate the remedial properties of the potions, a standard enforced by the Starlit Hand in Somnum.
