Potions of magic were a type of basic potion which invigorated some abilities in creatures who drank them, though could not grant magic to those who did not possess it. They varied in strength, viscosity, and flavor, but were most commonly a thick liquid of light blue that glimmered when agitated. Similar to Potions of Healing, they were often categorized by their magical efficacy, typically referred to as "greater", "superior", and "supreme". Their value increased exponentially based on rarity and power.
Many magic potions were marked with a universal triangular sign, or more complex triangle extending fractals. The symbol was used by healers and potion makers to indicate the remedial properties of the potions, a standard enforced by the Starlit Hand in Somnum.
