Wreya Helefir was the younger sister of Port-Lord Wrys Helefir of Cliffsunder. As a Helefir, she was born into comfort and refinement, though she possessed little talent for any art or trade, and graduated from the Whiteharbour Academy merely due to her family's status. From a young age she showed a taste for leisure, drifting between social circles and delighting in the pleasures afforded by her nobility.
Wreya's closest companion was her schoolmate Oona von Yonwood, a gifted and admired noblewoman whose beauty and wit made her a centerpiece of local society. Oona, seeing potential advantage in her friendship with Wreya, often guided her choices and introduced her to others of influence; she urged Wreya to bring her brother into their gatherings, a decision that would shape both their families.
Eventually Wrys married Oona, and Wreya's friendship with her incredibly busy stepsister faded. She herself never wed, taking lovers freely and without apology, unconcerned by the whispers that followed her through Cliffsunder’s halls. In later years she lived comfortably on her inheritance, secure in her power and content with living a vapid life.
