In Mystery Of Wistimere, the Manor LaPall became a site caught up in conspiracy and theft. The Vermin used contents they stole from the Manor to help prove the guilt of Perceval LaPall in unleashing Zombie Rot on the local elf population, threatening Wistimere's safety. The Adventurers would end up killing LaPall in battle, and the Manor was kept in reserve by the town's magistrate for some time.
The largest manor in Wistimere, this grand house typically was owned by the richest person in town, often given to those who held the greatest logging contracts or friends of the Fayan Trading Company. The manor was massive for a town of Wistimere's size, containing many rec rooms, guest rooms, and a massive cellar to support the kitchen. Typically, servants and guards lived on-site in these rooms, serving the lord of the manor at all times.
After Wistimere negotiated peace with the Elf tribes of the Woods of Elenmyr by abandoning its logging, however, it was purchased by the Alchemist Perceval LaPall, who would later become its mayor. Perceval had contracted out-of-work loggers to assist in digging a tunnel under his manor, swearing them to secrecy, and began using the space to conduct his Alchemy experiments without the knowledge of his staff.
